Felicia Atkinson in NYC

Lo-Fi artist, Felisia Atkinson (1981 Paris, lives in Brussels), has turned her life into a large playground of experiences. The artistfs assemblings and permanent reconstructions of minimal scaffoldings - the profusion of her various collaborations - are expressed through drawings, newspapers, writings, songs and collages.

2009.03.17(Tue) 8:00PM $5 @ Monkey Town /RSVP
poco a poco: the night of humble tiny music and dreamy everyday art.

The evening features Felicia Atkinson's video work "Pluie," a daydream for her La La La songs, and live performances by Felicia Atkinson (video, music) + sawako (live audio visual)+ Robbie Lee (portative organ = a small hand-pumped medieval-style wooden pipe organ). . . . folk + digital nostalgia + intimate ambient + handmade + lo-fi + singing + apple + ephemeral color + wooden instruments + field recording . . .
Enjoy with Monkey Town's experimental cuisine from a country that doesn't exist.
